Philosophy:

In setting forth our philosophy of Christian education, we look at the individual child:

1. As a whole person – Our philosophy views each child as God’s most complex creation. As the child grows, his/her mental, physical, and spiritual qualities develop. It is the task of the Christian educator to guide this development by an application of God’s Law and God’s Gospel.

History:
Zion Lutheran School was started in 1959 as a Christian educational service to assist parents and children of Zion Lutheran Church and the families of Cloverdale. The school started as a 3 room school and grew to include Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9.

Who We Are:
Zion Lutheran School is a Christian elementary school. Every instruction and course is offered under the umbrella of God’s Word and of Christ Jesus, our Saviour. A faculty of 12 qualified and caring teachers serve at our school. All teachers are certified under the British Columbia Ministry of Education.
